gon-ad-oh-RELL-in
A natural hormone analog that tells your body to produce its own testosterone — preserves fertility unlike direct TRT.
Also known as: GnRH, Factrel
Last reviewed: April 2026
Gonadorelin mimics the master signal (GnRH) that tells your pituitary gland to produce LH and FSH, which then tell your testes to make testosterone. Unlike TRT, which replaces testosterone directly and can shut down natural production, gonadorelin works upstream through your body's own hormonal cascade.
