P-E twenty-two twenty-eight
A research peptide targeting a specific potassium channel involved in depression — rapid-acting antidepressant potential.
Also known as: Spadin analog
Last reviewed: April 2026
PE-22-28 blocks the TREK-1 potassium channel — the same target involved in the mechanism of several antidepressants. In animal studies, it produces rapid antidepressant-like effects and promotes neurogenesis (new brain cell growth). It's in very early research stages.
